High-School-2B: Developmental Psychology

How do we grow and change throughout life? Developmental psychology explores the fascinating journey of human development, from infancy to adulthood and beyond. This six-week unit examines how biological, psychological, and social factors interact to shape our thinking, behaviour, and emotions at different life stages. Students will learn about key theories and milestones in physical, cognitive, and emotional development.

Through engaging discussions, hands-on activities, and case studies, students will explore how early experiences, relationships, and cultural influences shape who we become. This unit also highlights the importance of understanding development in real-world contexts, such as education, parenting, and mental health. By the end of the course, students will gain valuable insights into their own development and the ways they can support others.
